Squeeze that Juice!

Juices! Juices! Juices!  Oh where do I begin!  For anyone who knows me, I love drinking water, soda, and especially JUICES.  The store-bought ones contain tons of sugar and chemicals that your body does not need that much of.  So what can you do?  I will tell you what I did... I went and bought a juicer.. not just any juicer but a Breville Ikon Juice Extractor pictured below.

If you want something of good quality that will make fresh juices come out very easily and much easier clean-up than the cheaper ones, then you should get this one.  I absolutely love it! :) Macy's had this one on sale for about $200.  So go get one before they run out!

Okay, so enough about the juicer and more about the things you can create from it.  I don't like to eat fruits or some vegetables, but I don't mind drinking them.  I will show you 2 of the juices I have made so far.

Juice #1 is a blend of fresh carrots and oranges.  Before you put any of these two ingredients into the juicer, make sure to cut the top and bottom pieces off from the carrot and peel the skin off the oranges.  For this you don't even need to add anything else.  These two taste perfect together and you will be happy because they are fresh ingredients. :)

Juice #2 is a strawberry and kiwi juice with a Tablespoon of sugar.  As you can see in the picture, I have peeled the kiwi and cut the stem from the strawberries.  The drink is not blended here but you can do that with a spoon or by shaking it in a tightly sealed container.  I added the sugar because this mixture can be a bit sour but the good thing is I control the amount of sugar I use so it works out. :)

Have you ever created a mixture of different fruits or vegetables?  Please do let us know in the comment box.  Til then.... Happy Drinking! :)
